FAB buys

There are 2 products that I want to rave about.  So I have this fetish for concealers and the other day I went inside of my local beauty supply store and I ran across the L.A. Girl pro conceal HD. Let me tell about this concealer!! IT'S A M A Z I N G!! I have so many concealers and this by far works the best . Even better than my amazing conceal that cost $30 for a .2 fl oz! It's creamy, glides onto skin perfectly! It's also priced for $1.99. I got two different shades in warm honey and chestnut. MUST BUY!

The second product that had to face about is the wet and wild mega last liquid lipstick. Priced for $2.99. When I tell you that this lipstick stays on all day, it really does!!! No matter what you eat or drink it will stay on.  I went to a biker rally this past weekend and decided to wear it I drunk a beer right out of the bottle and there was absolutely no stain on the bottle. I even brushed my teeth with it on and NO smear on my toothbrush! Can you say AWESOME! Down fall is that you literally have to scrub your lips to get it off.  I used warm water. Make sure to condition the lips before putting it on though, you don't want crusty lips. I would choose this lipstick over any long lasting lip color.

DIY LOOFAH COSTUME

Inspiration

What you will need
  • 10-20 (I got 20) yards of tulle fabric
  • scissors
  • yarn (same color as your tulle)
  • measuring tape
  • elastic or elastic head band
  • needle and thread
  • white twisted rope
  • Tube dress or tube shirt and shorts same color as tulle
I got all my supplies from Hobby Lobby. I used a 40% off coupon and it only cost no more than $20

1st start by cutting your 20 yards of tulle into 10 equal length pieces.  Each piece will be 2 yards in length.  1 yard is 3 feet so each piece should be 6 feet. *FYI: the tulle should come already folded DO NOT unfold!

2nd take each 2 yard piece of tulle and fold it into half, then another half.

3rd take the elastic and measure your bust line and waist line. Then you will cut the elastic and sew the ends together. (if you are using a elastic headband there is no need to cut.)

4th cut 10 small pieces of yarn about 5 inches each. You'll be using these to hold the tulle together that you created in step 2.

5th  now take 1 of the yards of tulle and scrunch it together  like a fan. Take 1 piece of the 5 inch yarn you created in step 4 and tie it in the center of the tulle pieces.  DO NOT CUT OFF THE EXTRA PIECES OF YARN LEFTOVER.You'll do this to all 10 pieces

6th take 5 of the 10 pieces you created in step 5 and tie the extra yarn onto the elastic or headband that you created in step 3.

7th take the twisted rope and tie it onto the elastic band. That will be the hanging rope that's part of the loofah. YOU ARE ALL DONE!!!

Putting on the costume
put on tube dress or tube shirt and shorts, place the 2 "tutu's" on your waist line and below your bust line. The tube dress will not look right when you first put it on.  This is when your handy dandy fingers come in. Start fluffing the tulle in between the folded parts of the tulle.  You can also cut the folded parts of the tulle to make it fluffier. Accessorize with glitter spray paint for wet look, or add white balloons to it, so you can get the suds look! =) I prefer not to wear heels with this.

I forgot my rope :(... please don't mind the hair!
I got this idea off of pintrest.

Crazy, sexy, cool

So I cried my butt off during this amazing movie based of the girl group TLC. I've always been a fan of them. This movie was so inspirational. The group was signed to a janky production la face records. These ladies put in So much hard and dedication to what they loved just to get screwed over by greedy already wealthy individuals. SAD smh! They learned to speak up in what they believed and kept faith in The Lord to get earnings that they deserved. Tboz put her life on the line to pursue her dream. Chilli got stereotyped from a lady that was clearly jealous of her. Telling her that she was "loose". Ended up getting pregnant and ended getting a abortion to pursue her dream as well.  Left eye (my girl) wanted the fame. She always said that she was going to make it. She eventually made it but her temper would get her into a lot of trouble.  They built a sisterhood with one another. One that wouldn't break even though they had gotten into many arguments. Left eye ended up passing away in a fatal car crash in Honduras during a spiritual healing vacation. She has a documentary on her last days in Honduras. VERY sad so make sure you have tissue, but very good. She will always be remembered as the crazy yet creative and passionate being that she was. This movie has most def motivated me to go after my passion.  I'm going to make it.
